Outer Banks Photographers Capture Liz & Andy Engagement Photos at Elizabethan Gardens

I had the honor and pleasure of photographing and getting to know a wonderful couple this past March. We will be a part of their beautiful wedding this fall and I couldn’t be more excited for them and for us! I asked Liz and Andy to share a little information with us about their relationship, engagement and their big day. Here are some photos from the engagement session.

From Liz & Andy
Three years ago we met through friends and had an instant connection. We knew we had something special the first night that we spoke. We started talking and laughing together and have been inseparable ever since.

For my Birthday, Andy planned a vacation to Canada to see Niagara Falls and Toronto. He was nervously carrying around the ring the entire trip waiting for the perfect time to pop the question. Finally, on our last night while in Toronto he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife.

Planning the wedding has been really exciting for the both of us. We both knew we wanted a beach wedding, something that could be a vacation for our family and friends. The Outer Banks is the perfect low key beach destination that we love. Our family and friends can enjoy a long weekend playing on the beach and the great activities of OBX while celebrating our wedding and our future life together. We picked the Sanderling Resort as our venue because of the beautiful ocean front setting. We are planning an intimate classic wedding in navy and various shades of pink. The ceremony will be held on the beach while the reception is on an open deck overlooking the ocean. We couldn’t be more excited to share our big day with the family and friends we love the most.
