Douglas and Michelle Haber started Outer Banks Productions in 2005 as a husband and wife super team! Since then they have attended well over 750 weddings as of 2018. In the beginning, many of those first weddings were videography. But shortly after our success with wedding videography, the focus turned more towards wedding photography and family portraits.
Back in the mid 2000’s we constantly had our wedding video clients tell us that they wished we had not only shot their wedding video but also their wedding photos. Once this became apparent, Outer Banks Productions added wedding photography to the menu and have never turned back!
Receiving several awards during our first year of wedding photography, we clearly realized where we were going to focus our business. At this time wedding videography was in decline but we continued to pursue the business for many years.
In 2013, took on a new and very fun adventure. We introduced our unique photo booth rental service and that was an amazing decision! We took the brand new idea of having an “open air photo booth”, instead of having an actual booth and it took off like wildfire. Our photo booth rental service is a wonderful option and we keep it affordable by offering a discount if you add it along with our photography services.
In 2018, we ceased wedding videography to focus on wedding photography, photo booth rentals and family portraits. We are very happy with our new focus and direction. Additionally we also shoot an unlimited number of other photography events such as birthday parties, holiday parties, newborn photography, real estate photography and much more. If you need a photography service other than weddings or family portraits, just ask!
