Recent Reviews:
1. I was one of the luckiest people who had a chance to win a free wedding handbook from Outer Banks Production. I was planning to buy it anyway since I don’t have a wedding planner and was in search of specific advice for people who are planning the wedding at OBX.
The e-book is really easy to follow and captured all little details for the preparation, reception, and ceremony of the big day. For instance, tips like if you have a flower girl or ring bear and how to make the process for the kids less stressful. As well as how kids can feel in such situations. I Honestly, I didn’t even think about such little details until I started reading the handbook. It’s just one of the examples of what the handbook contains. Also, I really enjoyed reading about approximate prices for DJ, cater, photographer, etc. Since we are planning the wedding on a budget, it helped me to figure out my finances. Additionally, there are nice tips regarding saving money on alcoholic beverages that I previously thought mistakenly different.
In general, I would highly recommend the handbook to everyone who is planning the wedding at OBX, especially if you are not planning to have a wedding planner like I did. If you do, the advice that is described in the handbook will help to ease the emotional excitement that every bride goes through as well as will help to save money on reception and ceremony.
Best regards,
Anna

3. Michelle & Doug, thank you so much for such an amazing handbook. I had no idea how many things are different when having a wedding on the Outer Banks, compared to other areas. It was so easy to click on the topics that I really needed help with and the information was so important. I truly believe your handbook saved us a lot of money and kept us from so many problems. THANK YOU!
Sincerely,
Sara
4. Doug, WOW! I remember you telling me this took you 600 hours to write the handbook. Once I got into it, I was amazed at how much I did not know about having an Outer Banks wedding. My mother read almost everything and this really saved the day. We almost planned our wedding at high tide in Kitty Hawk, based on our preacher’s timeline and then when we read about the tides and the smaller beaches at our venue, we were able to make a change at the last moment. Honestly, we still almost had tide issues but if we had not changed the time, we wouldn’t have been able to have the wedding on the beach. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
