Here is a sneak peek from our wedding this past Saturday with Christine and Tom. We had such a great time with this couple! We had the chance to meet and work with Tom and Christine during their engagement session last fall.

Saturday started out sunny but as the day went on it turned in to a rainy day. Thankfully the ceremony was in a quaint little church in the town of Manteo.      Mt. Olivet church was built in 1887 in Manteo, NC. We were able to do some portraits in the church and head over to Jennette’s Pier for the reception.

As the bride was being bustled we noticed that the rain had stopped for a short time. We were able to take advantage of that time for some romantic portraits on the pier before the rain started again.

We went out one more time later for a wonderful shot with the gorgeous rainbow that appeared.

The evening started with the introduction and dances followed by a wonderful dinner by Cafe’ Lachine. The evening was filled with fun, dancing and laughter.

John and Amanda were married on the beach in Kill Devil Hills, NC on the Outer Banks. They were married on the beach in front of their rental home “Boardwalk”a Village Realty rental, and held the reception around the pool and on the decks of the house. They were so fortunate it didn’t rain that day. The bad weather stayed just slightly to the north of us. This bride was a DIY bride and did all the flowers and decorations for her wedding day. Blue steel provided the lighting. It turned out to be a beautiful day!
