Sometime in 2012, Outer Banks Productions, set out to compile an all inclusive and massive Outer Banks specific wedding handbook for electronic download. We really wanted to offer extremely Outer Banks specific wedding information not commonly found through basic Internet searches for “Outer Banks destination weddings”. If was very important for us to not complete with local Outer Banks wedding association, wedding guide publications, wedding planners or coordinators. We truly believe in all of these resources and feel all of these resources are extremely important and invaluable. We do not feel our guide invalidates these resources but enhances them!

Our main goal was to offer a downloadable e-book  that included important information and experiences that only an experienced Outer Banks wedding vendor could offer. With over 500+ weddings attended, both of us at Outer Banks Production have seen it all and are excited to share with you what we have experienced in order to have a successful Outer Banks Wedding. Having 2 children of our own, it was very important to offer true fatherly and motherly tips on how to make a wedding on the Outer Banks work it’s best. Additionally, we wanted you to save time with research, money and also help you avoid the stress and pain of all of the planning associated with a destination wedding.

After years of extensive work and research, Outer Banks Productions continued our goals of such an important publication and connected with other top Outer Banks wedding vendors for additional content and comments to increase the value of the e-book. We have amassed over 200 pages of information including articles from top wedding planners, caterers, DJ’s, officiants, realty companies, musicians and much more all for your ultimate success! Besides our own experiences and personal stories, the handbook includes comments and articles from these contributors which make this an invaluable document for your wedding success!

This handbook is designed to be the starting point in your decision to choose or not to choose the Outer Banks for your destination wedding. Our handbook will also help you if you choose a wedding planner which we greatly encourage! It will also specifically help you ask the right questions to yourself or your planner to make your wedding day perfect! The document covers almost every topic specific to an Outer Banks wedding and is very complete. Sure, there are the basic wedding tips you can find out there on great sites like the knot, but our informations is mainly geared specially towards an Outer Banks specific wedding.

With over 200+ pages our handbook is really the only thing out there that will specifically give you the real, hardcore, local Outer Banks information. In addition to our written content, there are  links, apps, websites, rules, maps, contact information, tips and much more. It will save you time, money and will greatly help to make your Outer Banks wedding PERFECT! The handbook is a .PDF file and is best read with Adobe Acrobat. There are plans to also offer this publication on other device such as Kindle in the future.

We also strongly encourage you to visit the Outer Banks Wedding Association, Outer Banks Bride Magazine and Outer Banks Wedding Guide, as these organizations and publications will greatly help to connect all of the pieces of information you are going to need for a successful Outer Banks wedding, in addition to our handbook of course!

I love going to Ocracoke. There is just something so peaceful and tranquil about this little island. I love when people call us up and say “Do you go to Ocracoke?” I am always hoping and praying their date is not already booked! I was so excited when we booked Monica & Rob for their engagement session!

My Mom and I took the ferry over to Ocracoke rather early in the day. We went and had an AMAZING lunch at Dajio’s.  It is a lovely little place with amazing food and a wonderful ambiance. We trekked through town and stopped at all the little stores. Then I left Mom in town to shop and relax while I met Rob and Monica for their engagement session at the beach.

Monica & Rob were visiting from NJ. They were enjoying a weekend away in a gorgeous place. I tried to talk them into photos in town but they just loved the beach. They were happy having all of their photos there. It was a bit windy that day but, it was gorgeous!

We had an amazing session! Afterwards we relaxed in town eating dinner at the Jolly Roger Pub, listening to live music and watching the sunset. It was the perfect day!
